The financier acquired a more modest island - the Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the more expansive adjacent island in 2016 for around $22.5 million.
The released images suggest he had created plans to build upon the substantial island by constructing homes, an performance venue, an underwater office and a reservoir.
