The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
